Evelyn stopped herself from following him. She let out her frustration in a loud groan. Who the hell does he think he is? She slammed the door and sat on her bed with a growl. This was the last thing she needed. And yet...seeing him like that almost relieved her from his usual all too hesitant manner.
Meanwhile Jack had other things on his mind. He thought of Victoria, he thought of that ridiculous Commodore and sighed with annoyance. No...it made things easier, didn't it? And yet here he was, in even more trouble...

Will stood outside Evelyn's room for a few moments breathing heavily. He couldn't actually believe himself. He was surprised she hadn't stabbed him with something sharp for treating her like that...she was his Captain after all. After a few moments, regaining some composure, he looked behind him, and noticing the small twinkling key in the lock of the door. After a few seconds, he reached out and twisted it, locking the door. Perhaps this is what she needed...lost in grief, without her Rory, someone solid with a firm hand to guide her. If he was wrong...and he made her angry...
"I just won't unlock the door..." he thought.
He left with a small smile on his lips, and pacing onto the deck, turned to Jorge...
"Evelyn has placed me in charge...for the moment. Set our course to Ireland...we need to take Rory home."

Deep in the decks of the Interceptor, Victoria could not sleep. She lay staring at the dark ceiling, lit only by one low lamp, uncomfortable on a bed meant for one of the officers. Across the other side of the small cabin her thoughts were frequently interrupted by Reginald's snores. Jack had not come after her when she said she was leaving...perhaps all his words has simply been that...words to woo her.
Sighing, she tried to forget the enchanting Captain...perhaps distract herself with a dashing Commodore...though it was hard to leave the Pearl and Jack behind so easily. She drifted into a very restless sleep.

Jorge blinked with surprise, "Oh..." he smiled a little, "Err...of course..." Evelyn? Leaving someone else in charge? Well...perhaps she was having difficulty with the events but...it seemed strange. He didn't question, merely nodded and went about his duties.

Evelyn heard something click at the door, she frowned a little and ignored it. Laying down, she hoped she might be able to fall asleep. Unlikely as it seemed...

Will paced around the ship making sure everything was in order as they sped across the sea under a starry sky. The naval ship tracked them, but with no urgency. It headed in the same direction but their paths would divide once they reached the Channel. One to Dover, the other to Dublin.

Jack made his was to the deck. It'd probably be best if he went back to the Pearl. He'd caused enough damage here...

As the sun rose, Will watched Jack with narrowed eyes as the man headed towards his own ship. "Are you coming with us...or running off as you usually do?" he cried, his fingers absent-mindedly tapping the hilt of his sword, glaring at him darkly.

Jack stopped and spun round to see him. B*gger. He started to edge away to the side of the ship. "Well I was just....just going back to the Pearl..." he trailed off. Maybe he should just get away, now...

"And..." Will raised and eyebrow sardonically. "You didn't answer my question?" His tapping was becoming more insistent. The image of Jack and Evelyn burned across his eyeballs.

"And..." he paused, he hadn't actually thought about it, he assumed they were...well, I guess they were heading for Ireland. "...going to Ireland. I mean...I would assume we all want to...y'know..." he trailed off. This was...uncomfortable.

Will nodded curtly. He marched towards Jack and whipped out his sword, thrusting it under the other man's chin. "Good. And if you try anything funny Jack...I will hunt you down...and hurt you." He took his sword away and put it back in it's sheath. He exhaled deeply and his dark eyes glanced over his comrade. Suddenly, he punched his smack in the jaw.
"And don't touch her again." He walked away back to the helm.

Jack let out a cry of pain, he held his jaw and muttered to himself, "Don't know which is worse, that in itself, or waiting for it to happen...argh..." he shook his head and went back to his ship.

Meanwhile on the Interceptor, Victoria was perched on deck listened to Reginald's incessant chatter about London, Court and the scandal that would erupt when everyone learnt of Frederick's death. Her hair was pinned loosely at the nape of her neck, and she's managed to pluck another dress from the cargo of the ship. It was ill-fitting and hung loosely around her neck and shoulders. After ten minutes of his constant whining, she snapped... "For GOD'S SAKE Reginald...he was drunk and he fell overboard. It's as simple as that...and it's no great loss to the world. Now stop whinging before I slap you." He fell silent and looked away quite worried at her threat.

James made his way to the deck whilst issuing Gilette with a few necessary duties to be taken care of immediately. Gilette nodded obediently.
He looked across to see the two pirate ships. He still couldn't bring himself to believe that they had been rewarded by the King himself and he could do nothing. Ridiculous.
He saw Victoria and gave a little nod before making his way to the helm to check their progress.

Reginald had resumed talking... "What exactly are you going to tell the King? Where will you say we've been? Think of the scandal Victoria! People will talk..." She cast him a glare and he fell silent. From her position she watched the Commodore at his post. Reginald observed her. "Do you like him or something...?" "Yes." She replied frankly. "Oh." Her friend swallowed thickly. "What about Captain Sp-" "Captain Who?" She interrupted, raising an eyebrow, cautioning him. They were silent for a while, both deep in thought. Then Victoria spoke quietly...
"Perhaps we can see about a reward for him that will benefit us all...and cause less of a scandal..."
Reginald perused this notion...then looked quite shocked...
"Marriage?" She nodded curtly. "As you say...people will talk...but it would quieten the gossip if I married the man who rescued me from dreaded and terrible pirates?" Reginald shook his head in disbelief, then added quietly... "You could marry me?" Victoria laughed as if it was a hilarious joke and patted his shoulder before drifting off below deck.

Evelyn gave up on the notion of getting some sleep and walked to her door. She pushed the handle, pulled and frowned. "Huh..." She tried again. She slammed her hand on the door, "Hey is this some kind of a joke?!" She kicked it angrily, "OPEN THE DOOR!" The heavy oak door wouldn't budge as she heaved against it. Who's bl**dy idea was this?!
